Privacy Policy & Donor Bill of Rights
The South Huron Hospital Foundation (the "Foundation") is committed to protecting donors’ privacy. We value our donors’ trust and recognize that maintaining this trust requires that we be open and accountable in our treatment of the personal information that donors choose to share with us. We take measures to safeguard personal information, adhering to the principles of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
In order to raise funds and awareness on behalf of the South Huron Hospital Foundation, we utilize personal information to contact potential donors and supporters. Donors may, at any time, opt out of receiving communications through any or all channels, and/or, may change the way in which they prefer to be contacted.
The South Huron Hospital Foundation follows the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Donor Bill of Rights. We also adhere to Imagine Canada’s Ethical Code. The foundation’s Privacy Policy is reviewed annually, and complies with the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act.
