Upcoming Funding Projects

Your donations make a direct impact to the annual needs of the South Huron Hospital. Each year the South Huron Hospital Association Board presents the Foundation with a list of immediate priority needs, as identified by the Hospital CEO and Leadership Team.

This year, the Foundation is committed to funding in excess of $500,000 in capital needs for the South Huron Hospital, including:

• Portable Ultrasound Machine for the Emergency Department
• Ring Rescue Kit
• Vital Signs Machines for our Inpatient Unit
• Full Capacity Ultrasound Machine for Diagnostic Imaging
• Electrocardiogram Carts
• Bariatric Ceiling Lifts

 In fiscal 2023-2024 the Foundation funded $1,200,000 in Capital Needs for the South Huron Hospital, including items such as:

• Bone Mineral Densitometer
• Chemistry Analyzer 
• WOW's (Mobile Computer Workstations)
• Bariatric Hospital Bed 
• Ceiling Lifts for patient and staff safety
• Patient Entertainment System

In fiscal 2022-2023, the Foundation funded $750,000 in Capital Needs for the South Huron Hospital, including items such as:  

• Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring Systems for both Emergency and Inpatient Units (a $300,000 project)
• Glucometers and Middleware Technology
• Wall Mount Suctions
• Health Coding & Patient Records Software
• Xray Equipment & Paediatric Chair
• Replacement of curtains in patient rooms
