The Future Fund is an important component of the South Huron
Hospital Foundation's forward-focused financial strategy, championing impactful
investment in the future of care at the South Huron Hospital.
This transformative
fund, fueled by generous contributions from the community, is a means by which
donors can leave a lasting mark on healthcare in our community. The fund was
started in November of 2022 with an initial gift of $105,000 made by Jim and
Fran Sweitzer of London, Ontario. This newspaper article features the

The
Future Fund is strategically invested for principal conservation with steady
annual returns. The capital of the fund is accessed only for extraordinary
projects or campaigns deemed by the Foundation's Board of Directors as being pivotal to the
future of care at the South Huron Hospital. The Fund also provides the option
of distributing the annual investment income from the fund for use towards
general equipment purchases. The Future Fund is governed by the
South
Huron Hospital Foundation's Investment Policy and is open to public
contributions with
a minimum pledge of
