Harold & Dianne's Story

Harold made a generous Grateful Patient donation over the phone, so of course we asked what inspired his gift. He told us about his heart attack surprise, being triaged in South Huron Hospital's Emergency Department, transported to London where he received a quadruple bypass, and then transferred back to South Huron Hospital for his recovery. It's a beautiful example of how the various healthcare teams work together to treat a patient from first point of contact to discharge.
Dianne tells her vulnerable story about being diagnosed with cancer, receiving treatment, and spending time at South Huron Hospital while she recovered. She shares how being close to home and in a place that is meant for rehabilitation makes a world of a difference when it comes to getting well again.
